Outreach at Marion Street Camp

On February 15th IS Living had it's first ever coat and food drive! A team of volunteer staff members from IS Living assembled 250 sandwiches and made 250 bowls of tomato soup. With the help of Generous Donors, One World Coffee and Goodwill's generous donation 650lbs of winter coats and blankets, we were able to help make the displaced people at two of camps here in Salem Oregon rest a little easier with a warm meal, hot coffee, water and weather appropriate clothing. Every month IS Living will be going to a different camp to provide a warm meal, clothing and resources to the meal living there. On March 30th from 8am to 1pm we will be at Wallace Marine Park in West Salem and we would love your help! Please contact vmiles@isliving.org if you have new or used coats, blankets, sneaker or boots you would like donate, we are also looking for donations of new socks. If you would like to make a financial donation, please visit our webpage at www.isliving.org/donate

HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS POSSIBLE!
